Frances Willard House

Add to plan Remove from plan

The historic home of one of the most prominent social reformers of the 19th century America. Willard rallied support for temperance as well as many important reform movements including woman's suffrage, woman's economic and religious rights, prison reforms, education and labor reforms. Established as a museum in 1900, there are textiles, family photographs, books, and Willard's bicycle--all which help us tell the story of this remarkable social reformer. The house is a National Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
