Each year more than 200 diverse singers from many faiths and backgrounds come from across the country and around the globe to take part in a Choral Music Festival at the Baha'i House of Worship. The a capella musical selections are inspired by and based on the scriptures of the world's religions. Rehearsals are held over the three days at a nearby hotel, culminating in two, back-to-back festival concerts. Participants sing in four or more parts to learn the music by heart. Selections include classical, gospel, and negro spiritual compositions. Non-singers are welcome to attend as well! Any non-singer who wants to participate in the Festival in full should also register themselves and pay. That person will be able to eat our catered meals, ride the buses and take advantage of other services provided.
